About Me!!
I am not sure where to begin because I have
never done anything like this before so I will just begin. As you will
soon be able to tell, I am not a journalists so there may be a BUNCH of
things said on this page that other people might say better than I but I
will give it my best shot, so Here We Goooooo!
I was born in Lafayette, La. We moved to
Opelousas, La when I was 4 years old. We moved to Welsh, La when I was 5
years old, where I started school until the middle of the 4th grade when
we moved to Jennings, La. where I continued school and graduated from
Jennings High School in 1974. I also attended Jefferson Davis Vocational
Technical School for automotive mechanic during the time I was attending
Jennings High School.
I started working at Henderson Implement in
Welsh, La after I graduated. About a year later I went to work for
Hebert & LeBleu, Inc. in Jennings as a mechanic for a little over a
year. Then I went to work at Creative Printing for about 6 months.
Learned about Photography, Plate burning and Printing Presses, etc. Then
went to work at Hoffpauir Motors in Lake Arthur as a mechanic for about
2 years and 5 months. Then I went to work for P & O Falco as a Truck
Driver hauling Crude Oil Petroleum for 3 months. Then went to work at
Milchem for 3 month Hauling Drilling Mud and Chemical. Then went to work
for Western Crude Oil in Dec. of 1979 as a Truck Driver hauling Crude
Oil Petroleum for about 10 years and the last 10 years was a mechanic.
The Co. has changed the name from Western Crude Oil to Getty Trading
& Transportation, Inc. to Texaco Trading & Transportation Inc.
to now what is Equilon Enterprises, LLC, and I was there until Oct. 31,
1999. Re-structuring of the Co. caused the Closing of the mechanic shop,
and I was one of many that was separated from the Co. Now I am trying to
go into business for myself and I hope some of my hobbies will start to
help bring in some revenue.
In my spare time (pretty much as a
hobby) since 1997 I have been working on Computer
Upgrading and Repair. Since about 1990 I have done some Electronics
repair and since about 1989 have been doing Public
Address Systems (for music groups, etc.) and that has grown into
about 9000 watts of PA
(house) power and about 2000 watts of monitor (stage) power.
I have been doing Computer
Upgrading and Repair and Have been working as a Consultant at a
Local ISP Since March of 2000 Doing Computer Repair and Networking.
Anyone that knows me knows that I do get bored if I continue doing the
same thing for long periods of times so I am trying to branch into other
Computer Fields.
