Computer Repair & Upgrading

ok!! I think this is going to be a good one. (hmm)

               I have been doing this since 1997 and so far, it has been self taught BUT if you have read the DJ and Sound Engineer pages, I have been self taught (for the most part) on that too. I have used Tech help and other resources to work through some problems and some things that I learn back when I was using a 286 machine. I had to learn DOS commands back then and it DOES come in very handy when doing SOME troubleshooting on windows machines. I also have many of the same books that the tech people use to troubleshoot so if I run into problems that are unfamiliar to me I can do some research.

               I Am Taking a Home Study Course so, if for no other reason, I will at least have a piece of paper saying I am supposed to know what I am doing. 
              
               At the time I am writing this I am also studying to become A+ certified and also hope to become certified in other fields also. I have upgraded, and repaired machines  and also helped people on-line in chat rooms and on the phone. I have also work through some problems that people were having with peripherals that they bought that would not work. Even the tech people for the Computer Co. and the added Peripheral Co. was not able to make the peripheral work. I am  not claiming to be a brain, all I asking for is a chance to help with repair, upgrades, and tutoring of Operating Systems, and also help with SOME other software and in doing so, maybe help save you from A LOT of down time and HEARTACHE.
