Bigfork
Fire & Ambulance is a
volunteer organization committed to
providing quality emergency medical care and Fire/Rescue services to the
Flathead Valley communities of the Bigfork, East Lake Shore, Ferndale, Echo
Lake, and Swan Lake areas of Northwestern Montana. We have
32 fighter volunteers, a part time Fire
Chief and an assistant Chief/Fire Marshal, training officer provide fire and rescue
protection out of three stations for the community of Bigfork, Montana.
Stations are located at
Bigfork,
Woods Bay
and
Echo Lake.
Twenty-eight medically trained volunteers are committed to providing
quality emergency medical care and service to the Flathead Valley
communities of the Bigfork, East Lake Shore, Ferndale, Echo Lake, and Swan
Lake areas of Northwestern Montana. As of January 1st, 2005, Bigfork
Fire Department and Bigfork QRU/Ambulance merged to jointly provide
quality emergency services to the area.
