| Here are some of the parts that had to be replaced. Note the piece to the right of the two miter gears. It is part of the shaft that held the motor mounting plate to the base. It is 1 1/4" in diameter. The shiny spot near the center is all that was left, the rest had rusted away. |

Here is the saw almost completed. All that is lacking is clamping down the BX conduit to the switch and installing the belt guard. | ||
| Finally, It is all completed. Now to
clean up the shop, build a rip fence and miter gauge. Just a note. I changed motors from the one pictured at the top of the page. |
