The Passion of the Church

Taken from the preface by the author: The chapters which follow were written over the course of thirty years, beginning in 1973 with articles published by the author as Big Rock Papers. Included are others which appeared later in the pages of the Catholic traditionalist paper The Remnant. As the title of the first chapter implies, they deal with some special aspects of the Passion of the Church which began with the Renaissance and is now accelerating to the final immolation in the reign of the Antichrist. Temptations to update or otherwise throw the light of hindsight on the original texts have been valiantly resisted. You will have to judge for yourself how much progress has been made so far along the uphill road to Calvary.

The Biblical Basis of Purgatory
by: John Salza - Jesus taught us about it, and for centuries the Church has faithfully defined and defended it.Protestants deny it even exists, while many Catholics fundamentally misunderstand it. It is Purgatory: that place of purifying penance wheresouls saved by Christ are made perfect and acceptable to spend life eternal in heaven. In The Biblical Basis for Purgatory, author and apologist John Salza (Why Catholics Cannot Be Masons) offers the definitive scripturalexplanation of this distinctively Catholic doctrine. Building on the teachings of Christ and St. Paul, he shows how the existence of a placeof temporal punishment after death is not only a logical extension of what we know about the reality of sin and God's justice, but is also asupreme expression of God's love and mercy.Although Purgatory is a place of mercy, its pains are real, and they are severe. This book does more than defend and explain Purgatory itprovides a solid plan, drawn from the Church s perennial wisdom for conquering our sins by God s grace, while still on earth.       Price: $14.95

The Religion of the Plain Man by: Msgr. Robert Hugh Benson
The Religion of the Plain Man is essentially a kind of pocket-sized apologetics. With a convert's understanding, Msgr. Benson proceeds to trace the sincere inquiries of an imaginary non-Catholic as he probes the present-day forests of beliefs in search of the Tree of Life--the One True Church. Through generous reference to Sacred Scripture, Msgr. Benson sets forth the claims of the Roman Catholic Faith--from forgiveness of sins to the authority of the Pope. Ideal gift for non-Catholics too! Gold embossed hardcover, 60lb cream paper, 117 pages

Holding the Stirrup
Baroness Elisabeth von Guttenberg In an older day it was customary for a woman to hold her husband's stirrup when he mounted to go into battle. That gesture became a symbol of her fidelity and courage while he was gone. Baroness Elisabeth von Guttenberg, daughter of the General Baron von der Tann-Rathsamhausen of Bavaria and the Countess Emma Mikes of Hungary, for several years held the stirrup for her husband, who died in his lifelong fight against the evils of Hitler and of Communism. Elisabeth was reared in the aristocratic tradition - Goeth and Schiller, Bach and Beethoven, a summer home in the 500 year old castle of Tann and a winter home in Nurnberg, member of the Old World society of Berlin and Budapest, host to Bruno Walter, Kaiser Wilhelmand Emperor Karl of Hungary and eventually wife of the Baron George-Enoch von und zu Guttenberg, the leader of the "White Army" that liberated Munich from the Spartacists after the first World War. But more than nostalgia for the grace and security of the past, Elisabeth's life story reflects world events from the turn of the century to the present, from the decline of the Hapsburgs to the tragic aftermath of the Third Reich. It is a story of heroism and self-sacrifice - the struggle waged by a nobility which, for all its faults and omissions, was the last bulwark of Christianity in Hitler's Germany, and the last organized defender of civilization which Hitler brought to such a terrifying end.

The Month of November  -

The Biblical Basis of Purgatory by: John Salza

For Altar and Throne

This beautifully illustrated book reads like a novel but is an historical part of the French Revolution that is often left out of the history books. A must read!

The aim of this modest book is to commemorate the visit of the Successor of St. Peter to the Vendee, where the people remained faithful to the Vicar of Christ and attached to their parishes and their priests, in spite of the cruelty of persecution to which they were subjected during the French Revolution. There is no more noble or inspiring story in the entire history of the Church than that of the heroic struggle of the people of the Vendee to defend their altars and their King. - Michael Davies

The Traditional Mass for Children

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the central act of Catholic worship. Therefore, it should be well understood and appreciated by all the faithful. Yet it has always seemed a formidable task to explain it, especially to children, because there is so much involved language, ritual, action, symbolism, vestments, and everything else that goes to make the Traditional Latin Mass a Heaven-inspired ceremony. Happily, Pro Multis Media has recently discovered a wonderful little book on the subject by Fr. William R. Kelly. Writing in the 1920s, Fr. Kelly possessed a gift for approaching the mind and heart of the child that allowed him to present the sublime mysteries of the Mass in a most appealing way. With simple language and compelling stories, his booklet simplified all necessary explanations and made the Holy Sacrifice better known and better loved by Catholic children.

Jesus Make Me Worthy A prayer book for the young boy and girl in a language so simple that every child can understand, combining much useful instruction for Communion and Confirmation with a large selection of devotions and prayers. It is truly a beautiful little book. Ideal for First Holy Communions and Confirmations, but suitable for any occasion (or no occasion). Everything a Catholic child must know about the practice of the Catholic Faith & spirituality all packed into 287 pages. Includes tons of prayers and over 90 illustrations (over half are in full color).
