I created this site because I bought the feminist lie: hook, line, and sinker! I hope now to have the opportunity to reach other moms earlier in their lives. I have a degree in education, and when my first children were small, I sent them off to daycare each morning and spent my days giving away my "best" to other people's children.
I would overlook issues in their character development and our relationship because we "had so little time together". (I'll say....maybe two hours on weeknights while I was trying to cook, clean and tackle the laundry mountain.) Many of the things I have learned over the years are contained in this site. I decided to find a place to answer many of the questions I am asked routinely.
Some of my ideas seem pretty "radical", but have brought great blessing into my life. I believe there is a little something here for everyone. I hope you will let God speak to your heart about the true blessing of marriage and family. Enjoy!
I am the mother of 8 children, ages 10 months to 15 years. We homeschool, and have homebirthed some of our children. You will also find links about some of my other interests like: organization, frugality, bulk foods, natural health, marriage, raising a "quiverfull" of children, and Godly womanhood. Being here is like having a visit with me over a cup of herbal tea!
