Hello!  My name is Clay Boepple and I'm glad that you are visiting.  I am the Music/Youth Minister at First Baptist Church in Des Arc, AR.  I started at this position after I received a music degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO.  I was born in central Kansas where I grew up until I moved to Missouri to finish my education, at least for now.  After receiving my degree I accepted the position to serve here in Arkansas.

As you can guess, my relationship with Christ is important to me.  I pray my friends and others see that as well.  I try to put my relationship with Christ first in my life and so I wanted this web site to reflect that.  If you would like to know what it means to have a relationship with Christ you can click on Faith in Christ to learn more.

Another thing that's important to me is family.  I grew up in Ellinwood, Kansas.  I have an older sister and an older brother.  I am single and I have no relatives in Arkansas, but I still try to stay in close contact with my Dad and Mom and the rest of the family.

Music is another joy in my life.  I love to sing!  I really started getting involved in music in junior high school.  I had an excellent teacher who directed us in a great music program.  My family, friends, & teachers helped me discover some talent through music at school, at church, and at home.  Throughout high school I participated in the choir, I competed and placed in several contests, I auditioned and got into the show choir at school and I started singing at church.  When the time came for me to decide what to do after high school I decided to major in music.  I attended a local junior college where I received my Associates degree in music.  During that time I felt that God called me to use my music talent for His ministry.  Not long after that I was asked to lead music at a church part-time and so I believed God used that to affirm my calling.  I then transferred to Southwest Baptist University in MO where I finished school with a Bachelor of Music degree.

The latest music ministry that I have been able to do is a CD project.  After years of encouragement from family and friends, I recorded my first CD this past summer.  To find out more go to My CD Project.

One final interest that I have is computers and so that is why I've included some computer resources on my web site as well.  Hopefully you will find some helpful information.

Thank you for visiting and may God bless!
