Clay Boepple:  For His Glory

Is the title of my first CD.  It is the result of God's grace and the encouragement of my parents, family, and friends.  I hope this CD will glorify Jesus Christ and that when you listen your heart will be drawn to him.

For several years people have asked me for a tape.  Finally, in May of 2003 I did a recording project through Praise Hymn Soundtracks in Nashville, TN.  The process began by simply calling and having them send the information along with a contract.  At that point I selected 20 songs from their collection and they sent the tracks.  Once I listened to the songs, I narrowed my selection down to 10 songs.  I selected some songs that I knew along with some new ones.  "Amazing Grace" was a replacement song at the last minute in the studio.  Anyway, once the songs were picked I reserved a recording date.  When I arrived in Nashville I met with the producer and then went into the recording studio from 9 a.m. to 12 midnight, needless to say it was a long day.  It was a good experience that involved a lot of work in a short time.  I discovered that 15 hours in a recording studio to record and engineer 10 songs is difficult.    I also learned what my strengths and weaknesses are vocally.  Hopefully the work has been successful and that CD truly expresses what God has done for me.
