Subject: The Other Ladies in My Life
Dear Ones,
Just a reminder.... it's Saturday
and time to take another marble out of the jar.
Tomorrow we hold a Dedication
Worship Service and Open House for our new church. During the past year, we
constructed a new church sanctuary on the same grounds where the church we
attend has stood for almost 100 years. Leavon attended this church as a little
girl.
There are ladies still attending our
church who taught Leavon in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.... and
that was a long time ago. :-) These ladies are a sheer delight to be around.
They radiate a beauty that only God could manifest in one's life. They are
living proof to His grace and never-ending love. They are the only bible one
would ever need to read. No one, save He, knows how many more Saturdays they
will live to see.... or how many more Sundays we will live to see them sitting in
their familiar places in the same pew they have sat in for over a half
century. But, we know one thing for certain.... God is alive and well in their
hearts... and His glory shines through these lovely ladies.
What a legacy they will leave
behind when they depart this earth for their Heavenly home. God bless them as
he has blessed us who know them. I love them one and all.
We should all pause long enough to
consider what will be the legacy we leave behind.
