Friendship
Dear
Friend,
Well, another Saturday has arrived and it's time to take another marble out of the jar. During the past week, I lost a friend. Rod, an old Army buddy, went into the hospital for a "routine" angio-plasti, but complications arose during surgery and he died. Elaine, his wife, wrote: "When I gave him a hug and a kiss at 8:30 yesterday, I thought I would be visiting him in a couple of hours." Well, as we all know... in life, there are no guaranties, but in death there is hope through Christ Jesus that we shall see each other again. Today, Saturday, February 24th, my friend Rod will be buried and Elaine will be attending his Memorial Service.
Friends,
may you have a great day. And while you do, think on this.
Don
TRUE
FRIENDSHIP
True
beauty is best seen with closed eyes, and an open heart...
True friendship is best heard in the silence, and support of the unspoken
words...
True love is a gift that multiplies and returns,
The more you give - the more you earn...
True joy and happiness is found in the close friends that we discover on our
journey..........
You've made me laugh when there were only tears in supply,
You've cried with me, prayed for me, and you've cared...
I
want you to know what a difference you've made,
In my life, not just sometimes, but each one of my days....
Thank
you for being my friend!!
