"What a
great party!" That's a quote from many of you who attended the
auction on June 4, 2005. Appetizers were tasty, dinner was
magnificent, desserts were sinfully delicious, and the auction
was fantastic. We raised about $21,000. Part of this money
goes to our scholarship fund, $1300 will be used for ceiling
fans and lights for the Clubhouse, and the rest goes into the
general budget. Plans are underway for next year's
auction-Sat. June 3, 2006. Save the date and start planning
your donation.
A few items were taken from cars
recently. Let's not tempt anyone walking through our Pro Shop
parking area or Club House parking area. LOCK YOUR CAR AND PUT
YOUR VALUABLES OUT OF SIGHT. And, please, leave your pets at
home while you golf. Cars can get awfully hot even if the sun
isn't out much.
The golf course use gets busy this time
of year. Do call for a Tee Time. When you sign in, notice the
shirts, jackets, etc. in the Pro Shop. There are new colors
& new styles. Great job, Chris!
Look over the July
calendar. We've got lots going on: tournaments, dinners, &
parties. Be sure to sign up in time so you can join in on the
fun.
