Hi Jack and Sue and family,
Loris and I were so thrilled to hear back from you.  When I found your email address on the web, via Torremolinos church web site, my heart was racing as I sent that first email off to you. So much has happened in our lives over the last 27yrs, since I last saw you and Sue.
As I'm sure is your story also.  Let me begin by saying that I so appreciate you emailing back to us! I really mean that, I know we've been so slack in not keeping contact in the past. One of the reasons, I know this is a poor excuse, is that we only just got a computer a few months ago.  Yes, I know it's hard to believe in this day and age that someone could be computer illiterate. Yes, that was me.  So bear with me as I try and catch up with the rest of the world.

Loris and I have a daughter Catherine who is 26 and single and loving the free life.  She loves the Lord with a passion, and the Lord seems to have given her a prophetic gift, so life with her around, though she lives in her own place, is quite exciting and full of spice.  She is a school teacher in one of the large christian schools in our area, so we see her regularly.

Our son Aaron is 24 and also loves the Lord and serves his church in the area of music.  He is an accomplished lead guitarist, and plays in local christian bands and also has his own band.  We are so proud of our kids, as I'm sure we all are.  Aaron works as a landscapper with a friend of his and loves working out doors.  He to is single and loving it.

Loris and I have been married 27 yrs now and with an empty nest, we are wondering what adventure the Lord has for us now.  The Lord has never told us to Pastor a church, so here we are serving where ever He leads and enjoying our walk with Him.  We were with a local Pentecostal church for 10 yrs and enjoyed a blessed time especialy with the young people, training and discipling them.  This realy has been the burden on my heart for years, and really was our original call from the Lord in 1979,  to come back to Australia and work amongst the young people. So here we are just having left that work and looking for the Lords direction now for our future.
For an occupation I run a sheet-metal factory through the week and have an opportunity to wittness for Christ most days amongst the local people.  Loris works part time in age-care at a local retirement village. She's been there 18 years in the administration side of it.

What about you and Sue, brother, how are you in your journey with Jesus.  It's amazing isn't it that we will all see one another again in heaven, maybe soon.  I don't know when Jesus is coming back, but when ever it is I want to be ready and be one who is about our Fathers business,  don't you.

What about Dan, I read his web site,  it sounds like he is still going strong for the Lord.  Is there any way that I could contact him personally, do you think he would remember us and want any contact, Jack?

Seeing I'm so new on this computer I don't think it would be wise to spread our email address around very much as I simply wouldn't be able to contact people back, would it be alright if I just kept contact with you at the moment.  It's so good to hear from you brother, it brings back so many blessed days and moments from the community days in Torremolinos.  Everywhere I've preached both in Australia and overseas I've talked about you all and told of lessons we learned from Dan and those blessed years in Spain. I can hardly believe where the years have gone, both Loris and I were only 21 yrs old when we first came to know the Lord, He has been so good to us over all these years.

Well my brother I won't go on and on, it is just so good to talk with you, and we would love to keep in touch.  We have some photos so when I've learned how, I'll send some to you of my precious family,  Loris and I are really happy serving Jesus together all these years, I never knew what a gem I was getting when I fell in love with her all those years ago in our beloved Torremolinos.

Please keep in touch,
Your fellow soldiers of the cross,   Barry and Loris. (Australia).
