What We Believe

1. We believe that the Bible, in the original writings, is the verbally inspired Word of God and, being inerrant and infallible, is the supreme and final authority in all matters whether of faith or life.

2. We believe that there is one God who exists in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and Who is eternal, all powerful, all knowing, sovereign, holy, righteous, infinite, love and present everywhere.

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Godhead, who, while He exists as undiminished deity, also was born of the virgin Mary, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit, and as true God and true man, died on the cross as the predicted substitutionary sacrifice for our sins. He physically rose from the dead, ascended into heaven where He now sits on the right hand of the Father interceding on behalf of the believer, serving as head of the Church and awaiting His return to the earth.

 4. We believe the Holy Spirit convicts men of sin, righteousness and judgment, and regenerates those who believe in Christ as their own Savior. Further, He baptizes, indwells, and seals every believer, and, setting them apart for (God's purpose, He empowers, guides and gives gifts to all believers and teaches them in matters of the Word of God.

5. We believe that though man was created in the image of God, sinned in Adam and brought upon himself both physical and spiritual death (eternal separation from God). Man continues to sin and needs the redemption that is found in Christ Jesus.

6. We believe that the lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, bearing its penalty as our Substitute. All who believe that He did this for them and trust Him as their personal Savior, receive eternal life and are justified on the basis of His shed blood by this act of faith alone.

7. We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, is made up of everyone who has been saved by God through faith in Jesus Christ and is to be distinguished from Israel, the Jewish nation. The local church is that portion of the Body of Christ in a given geographical area which meets together and is organized to do God's will for spiritual growth and service. It is the purpose of the Church to disciple all nations and to witness concerning Jesus Christ, her Lord.

8. We believe in the personal, premillennial return of the lord Jesus to this earth and His pretribulational gathering of the Church to Himself. We believe in the resurrection of the just and unjust, the judgment of the nations and Christ's personal reign over the earth for 1000 years prior to the final judgment

 9. We believe, out of gratitude for what God has done for us, we ought to dedicate ourselves to the Lord, living our lives as a "thank you" to Him for His gracious commitment in our behalf.

  Ordinances

At Kinder Bible Church, we observe communion and baptism as the two ordinances appointed by Christ as visible signs of the saving truth of the gospel. We remember the Lord's death in the observance of Communion on the first Sunday of each quarter. Water baptism is a public confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. The Scriptures show that only believers were baptized-- those who had made personal decisions for Christ (Acts 8:36-37). While we emphasize baptism by immersion, we also respect those who desire to be baptized by pouring or sprinkling, and so will honor the convictions of those who desire baptism by any of these means.
