Kinder Bible Church continues its heritage with a strong emphasis on Bible teaching both from the pulpit and in its other ministries. We believe that it is of crucial importance that believers in Jesus Christ learn what the Bible says, what it means by what it says and how we should live because of what we have learned. Sunday morning and Sunday evening services usually feature verse by verse exposition of a book of the Bible. On Wednesday evening, the emphasis is on prayer and topical and expositional studies related to spiritual growth. Other opportunities for believers to gather together, such as small groups, are encouraged. Learning the truth is important in the Christian life, but also important is living the truth. We believe that the Bible is God's "handbook" on life and that life's problems can be solved by the practical application of its teaching. We are praying that the Lord will use us to reach the lost for Christ, lovingly introduce them to the fellowship of believers and train them in the knowledge of the Word so that they, too, may win others to Christ and continue the discipling process as part of their own experience. We are praying that the Lord will add to the church those from every stage in life, who want to serve the Lord as He directs. The Lord has been good in supplying Kinder Bible Church with believers who have walked many years with Him and know His Word. We are asking the Lord to partner those in the prime of life with mature, well grounded believers whom God has placed here. Music Music has always been an important part of Kinder Bible Church. At present we have an active Choir that does special music and a Cantata every Christmas. In addition to a Choir, we are very blessed to have many talented voices who sing solo specials. Over the past several decades we have had numerous children, as well as youth musicals and plays. The Bible says, "make a joyful noise unto the Lord." Since Bro. Robert has joined our church family we have added Praise and Worship music to our Morning Worship Service. Here at Kinder Bible Church there is Music for God's Children of all ages. If you would like to honor God's word by making a joyful noise, come and join us at Choir practice every Sunday evening following Sunday Night services. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Psalms 150:6 NIV O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalms 95:1 KJV
I will sing to
the Lord, for He has been good to me. Psalms 13:6 NIV Youth Christians In Action. The phrase presents both a challenge and a message. The challenge is for Christian youth in our community, not just members of our church, to share Jesus Christ with others and to speak out about their faith. The message points to the Kinder Bible Church's youth group and its purpose. The mission of CIA is to reach the youth of Kinder's community and present to them biblical solutions to today's problems. As one of the main outreach groups at Kinder Bible Church, CIA consists of youth from 7th to 12th who gather together weekly, led by an adult, for Christian fellowship and to talk about world issues and problems. The twist is that CIA strives to give the youth hope and solutions for these troubles. Lessons are presented and feedback is given because group interaction is a big key to learning. It helps to know what others think about certain things, but the Bible is always used for the one true answer. CIA takes an annual trip to the Shepherd Ministries Youth Conference. Here, the youth experience true worship by singing praise songs and listening to biblical lessons on a high school level. This trip always seems to bring the members of CIA closer together, and it lifts their spirits about God's Word. Christians In Action has proved to be a strong part of high school growth at Kinder Bible Church. Through CIA, youth learn how to apply God's Word to their everyday lives. It is also a time of fellowship among believers. It has proven to strengthen teen relationships with Jesus Christ. CIA is truly a vital asset to the Kinder Bible Church. ____________________
But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16 NIV Missions The object and focus of Missions: Jesus said this to us in Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Matthew 28:19-20 KJV Following is a list of the names and addresses of the active missionaries the Kinder Bible Church supports financially, with the name of their mission, their ministry and geographical location:
Ladies Aide The Ladies Aide is a group of women interested in promoting the cause of Christ through the local church. They meet on Wednesday mornings throughout the school year for Bible Study, intercessory prayer, fellowship, and business. Besides members and the pastor, guest speakers are invited for the lessons. Our second important ministry of prayer is often followed upon with cards, calling, and visits. Fellowship and business join to help plan and promote various meetings, church functions, missions, and the like. Some of our committees have been extended to include our working ladies to assist with our periodic "Ladies Night Out" activities, meals for funerals, and assistance to families with extended critically ill members, large social functions, and ministries to Camp Pearl. Ladies Aide offerings are in part for Camp Pearl and other mission giving, tokens of appreciation to special speakers, and varied church projects. The group is a busy arm of the Church and one its most successful venture was the compilation and publication of a "2 in 1" cookbook, Taste and See which generated funds to help with the building of a new church. |
