Q: How soon do I need to make a
reservation? Q: May I bring my dog? A: No pets allowed…no exceptions. Q: What if I have 5 adults and 6 children? Can we fit on the 10 – sleeper? A: If a child weighs 90 lbs. or more, he/she is considered an adult. Two children weighing 90 lbs. or less equal one adult, even if those two children are infants. It has long been our experience that a boat packed over-capacity with people becomes a boat on which no one has fun. Q: Are life jackets provided? A: We provide adult life jackets which fit persons 90 lbs. or above. We have a few life jackets for children, but bring those along if you have them. Q: Why do I need a generator? A: "Creature comforts" like hair dryers, razors, blenders etc. will not work without a generator. All boats are equipped with gas lights, refrigeration, stove, hot water and heat. A generator is standard on all houseboats. Q: What happens if I have to cancel? A: All reservations are final. Reservation deposits are non-refundable unless boat can be rebooked. 15% handling fee.Q: Can we rent for one night? A: All houseboats have a 2 night, midweek minimum. We do have pontoon boats (open-air) available for day trips. Q: What are extra expenses? A: Food and fuel. Expect to use between 40-50 gallons of fuel for a 3-night trip. |
