Driving
From Port Angeles:
Take Hwy 101 South. Look for mile marker 170. The hostel is 7/10 of a mile past
it on the left. Also there are two hostel signs along the highway. The first one
says; "Hostel 1/4 mile". The second one is at the driveway. Turn left at the
second "Hostel" sign. The last place to shop for food is at Forks.

From Seattle (Northern route):
Take the Bainbridge Island ferry from downtown Seattle. Take
route 305 out of the ferry terminal to the intersection with Hwy 3. Turn right
to Hwy 104. Turn left across the Hood Canal Bridge and continue to the
intersection of Hwy 101. Turn right and drive to Port Angeles;
follow the direction above (From Port Angeles)
to arrive at the hostel.

From Seattle (Southern route):
Take Highway I-5 South to exit 104 (Aberdeen). Drive directly to Aberdeen.
Once in Aberdeen take Highway 101 North. Just after milepost 169 you will see a
sign that says, "HOSTEL !/4 mile". Turn right at the second "HOSTEL" sign. The
last place to shop for food is in Aberdeen.

From SEATAC Airport to The Rain Forest Hostel
SEATAC to Tacoma
To travel to the Rain Forest Hostel via Tacoma, Olympia, and Aberdeen.
Pierce Transit #574 runs from SEATAC to the Lakewood Mall Transit Center in Tacoma. Boarding the bus at 10:20 (or 11:20 for a tight connection) allows you to connect with Pierce Transit #620 and continue on to the Rain Forest Hostel as described in the Seattle to the Rain Forest Hostel, Southern route, described above.
SEATAC to Seattle Ferry Terminal
To travel to the Rain Forest Hostel via Seattle and Port Angeles.
From the roadway outside the lower level baggage claim at SEATAC airport, board King County Metro Route #194 to downtown Seattle. This bus leaves every half hour (approximately 5 and 35 minutes after the hour) for the 30 minute trip into Seattle. Get off the bus at the Pioneer Square tunnel station. From the bus stop, walk 5 blocks west to the waterfront, then two blocks north to the Washington State Ferry terminal at Pier 52. A McDonalds sign located at the ferry terminal is a conspicuous landmark at the pier.
To continue on to the Rain Forest Hostel via Port Angeles and Forks, board the Bainbridge Island ferry (Bremerton Ferry on Saturdays) and follow the directions From Seattle - Northern Route above.
