We buy CGC Graded Comics:

• We currently are paying 50% of the Overstreet value for silver age Marvel comics and this can be a higher percentage for certain key issues.

• Comics must be Universal with cream or better page quality and graded 2.0 or higher

Our Slab and Buy Program:

• The no-upfront cost option to sell your comics.

• Send us your raw comics and we will pay to submit the books to CGC under our SilverComics account to receive our 20% dealer discount. After the books are returned from CGC, you have three options available to you.

  • Option 1: We will guarantee a purchase price as a percentage of Overstreet for all Universal with cream or better page quality and graded 2.0 or higher minus the slabbing and shipping costs. The percentage is currently 50%, but can be higher for a few key silver age books.

  • Option 2: We will consign your books in our store for you at the price you chose. As your books sell and after slabbing and shipping fees have been deducted, we will send you a check each month. We charge a 20% commission for our consignment option. See the Consignment Service below for further details.

  • Option 3: If you desire, we will send your books back to you at any time after slabbing and shipping costs are covered.

• You can chose any combination of these three Options.

Consignment Service:

• We offer a 20% consignment service.

• Send us any CGC graded comics to place in the SilverComics inventory. You can decide the selling price. We do not charge to list any comics and we pay all the EBay fees, Pay Pal fees, shipping costs and insurance costs.

The SilverComics Auction Option:

• If an item in the SilverComics store is not in an auction format, we offer a unique way to give you a discount on most of the comics you see at SilverComics.

• After we negotiate an auction price, we will list the comic in a no reserve, 10 day auction at that opening price. The percentage discount that we can offer is variable and can sometimes be as high as 35%.

• In exchange for this discount, we will ask you to commit to make the opening bid in the auction.

• Important information:

  • We offer this feature since an auction increases visibility for our store in the EBay community.

  • Since it will be an auction, there is a chance you will be outbid by someone else. We find that this happens about 25% of the time, so it will be a calculated risk for you.

  • Also, since we are sacrificing our profit margin using this service, we can not offer any buy-it-now options on these auctions.

  • We may not be able to offer the Auction Option for certain consigned comics.
