Black Eyed Peas
Ingredients
| 16 oz. frozen black eyed peas | 2 tsp. salt |
| 1/2 tsp. black pepper | 1 pkg. Sweet 'N Low |
| 3 beef bouillon cubes | 1 tsp. canola oil |
Preparation
Place frozen peas into a large pan with cover. Add remaining ingredients except sweetener & cook peas according to pkg. directions. Add Sweet 'N Low last 5 minutes of cooking time. You may add a little extra salt if desired. Good served with cornbread or Jalapeno cornbread. You can also use dried peas in place of frozen. Cook according to directions with same seasonings and ham hocks.
