Crab Casserole
Ingredients
| 1 l b. crab meat | 1 can sliced mushrooms |
| 1 cup chopped celery | 1/2 cup chopped onion |
| 1 small jar pimiento | 3/4 cup skim milk |
| 1/2 tsp. Tabasco | 1 tsp. garlic powder |
| 1/2 tsp. black pepper | 1/2 cup bread crumbs |
| 2 tbs. melted margarine, fat-free | 2 tbs. plain Flour |
| 1/2 stick oleo, fat-free |
Preparation
Sauté celery & onions. Make a white sauce of 1/2 stick oleo, 2 tbs. flour & skim milk. Cook over low heat until thickened. Add mushrooms & sautéed onion & celery to sauce. Stir in crab meat. Add pimiento, garlic powder, Tabasco, black pepper. Pour into casserole dish. Mix bread crumbs & 2 tbs. melted margarine. Sprinkle on top of all. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
