Prayer :

Peace and God's blessings to you,

I love to share the love of God that I feel in my heart, 
through the gift of poetry that God has given me. When I
write, I can feel the Holy Spirit inspire me with words
that often, I would not be able to express with my voice. 
I ask God to show me people who need help or are hurting
in some way and when they cross my path, it inspires me 
to write about their pain or share poetry about my tests
and trials in life. I look forward to each new day with
excitement to see how the Lord will direct each step.

May God open your heart to feel what He has put in mine.

If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, I pray
that you will not wait another day to accept Him into your
life. God loves you and wants you to experience peace
both on this earth and eternal life in heaven. The Bible
says..."we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ." Romans 5:1

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten 
Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have 
everlasting life."
John 3:16

Jesus said..." I have come that they may have life and that they 
may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

God created us in His own image to have abundant life, but we 
were given free will to chose to obey Him or walk in our own sinful 
ways. We will never be able to be "good enough" to earn our way 
to heaven. 

The Bible says...
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 
Romans 3:23

"But your iniquities have separated you from God; and your sins have 
hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2

Jesus is the only answer to our separation from God. He died on the 
Cross and rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging 
the gap between God and people. The Bible says..."But God demonstrates 
His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." 
Romans 5:8

We must trust Jesus Christ and receive Him by personal invitation. 
The Bible says..."if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and 
believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will 
be saved." Romans 10:9

To receive Christ you must...

1. Admit you are a sinner.
2. Be willing to turn from your sins and repent.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through
the power of the Holy Spirit and receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

What to Pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that you died for
my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart
and life. I want to trust You as my Lord and Saviour.
In Jesus' name I pray...Amen

The Bible says..."For 'whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:13

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith...and this is not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God...not by works, so that no one can boast." 
Ephesians 1:8-9

"He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not 
have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the 
Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may 
continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:12-13 NKJV

Now that you are God's child take the time to get to know Him as your Father
and develop a personal relationship with Him.

It is only by reading the Bible, can we know what is God's will and plan for our
life. God's Word is like His special road map given to us to tell us which way
to go and where to turn at each new season in our life. Pray with Him every day
about everything and watch a tremendous change in your life.

Valerie's Prayer : 

Heavenly Father, 

Thank you for loving me enough to call me as your 
child and servant.  May the words you give me be used to comfort the 
lost, the hurting, the sick. Please let me share them with as many 
people as possible, to inspire and encourage them, so that when you 
call me home to heaven ...a little part of my heart may be left on the 
earth for many years to come for people to know how much I loved 
you.   I do not ask for worldly fame of fortune from this gift, but only 
that it will be shared and used to give you glory and change people's 
hearts and turn them to your wonderful grace and forgiveness. I thank 
you for the beautiful Word you have left us in the Bible to inspire us,
comfort us and encourage us to follow your wishes to love others
as you have loved us and to share your Word with them, so that all
may be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth.
In Jesus name I pray...
